Because love should be the strength that moves us when teaching our students. And because sharing keeps us moving to reach them... Here you can find ressources I make for teaching English, mainly to children.

This is a craft I've made to my students for them to give to their mothers on "Mother's Day". They must cut the petals and glue them under the circle in the middle to make a flower. You can give them a stick or a straw for them to hold it.

To have a personal touch, the students can write "I LOVE YOU" on the 3 petals above "Happy Mother's Day". They can also write their names.

A worksheet I've made for teaching the letters K, W and Y which don't exist in the Portuguese alphabet.

My 1st Grade students asked me to teach them these letters (the "English Letters", as they called them ) and I decided to create an activity where they can learn to recognize the letters in words. Besides, they can also revise some of the vocabulary dealt with in English class, because they already know most of the words I chose.

The instructions for the exercises are written in Portuguese, but you can easily change them, if you want. Here they are in English:

1- Watch the words and circle the letters K, W and Y.

2- Match the words with the pictures.

3- Colour the paint buckets with the right colour. Colour the pictures.

This is a simpler version of the worksheet above, without the pictures to match. I've made this version for my special education students.
